Technical and performance standards for Slab doors
These are the technical and performance specs for Qwikkit Slab doors, part of the DuraBuild™ line.
Slab doors are a clean, one-piece design, laminate wrapped and edge banded for a near-seamless look. For styles and colors, see the DuraBuild line and the door styles page. For the construction detail, see the Slab Door Technical Specs.

| Door thickness | 3/4 inch |
| Core construction | Composite real wood panels with 100% pre-consumer recycled content, Eco-Certified by the Composite Panel Association. |
| Face and back | The top and bottom of the panel are covered in a decorative surface with wood prints or solid colors. This is either a melamine saturated laminate bonded to the core by thermofusion, or a waterproof film bonded with heat and water resistant thermoset glues that do not reactivate at high temperatures. |
| Edges | All edges are covered with thermoplastic composite materials bonded with heat and water resistant thermoset glues that do not reactivate at high temperatures. |
| Emissions | CARB II compliant (California Air Resources Board), the highest government standard for product emissions. |
| Environmental sustainability | Contributes to both LEED and National Green Building Standard credits. |

| Stability and warp resistance | Doors are balanced, with identical materials on the front and back. |
| Lightfastness | No fading or yellowing after a test simulating 10 years of direct sunlight at 8 hours per day. Color change (delta E) is under 1.0 after 200 hours of Xenon arc light in accelerated weathering. DIN EN 105 B 02. |
