A typical Qwikkit is 4-5 cartons containing:
- Instructions
- Custom doors
- Drawer fronts
- False fronts
- Door pulls
- Screws
- Locator jigs to simplify installation
- QR codes to video instructions
- Matching paint for existing cabinet boxes
When Is Refacing Not A Good Idea
We are not always the perfect fit. The following describes instances that require a different solution:
- Having metal cabinets
- Wood cabinets are in bad shape
- Wood frame is made of plywood, particle board, or MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
- Unique woodgrain or style is desired
- Changing the layout/floorplan
Reface vs Replace
Refacing offers a lot of advantages to replacing. Refacing is best for:
- Projects that are smaller in scope and less complex
- Time is important for your project
- Cost is a concern (Refacing is usually 1/3 cost of replacing)
