How Qwikkit spaces hinges on every door
The offset is the distance from the end of the door to the center of the hinge cup.
The standard offset is 3 inches. It can run as little as 2.5 inches or as much as 10 inches when a door needs it.
The number of hinges depends on door height. Taller doors need more hinges to stay flat and hang straight. Qwikkit doors run 7.5 to 63 inches tall and 5 to 36 inches wide, and every door ships with the right hinge count already set.
| Door height | Number of hinges |
|---|---|
| Up to 35" | 2 hinges |
| 35" to 60" | 3 hinges |
| 60" to 63" | 4 hinges |
