Common questions

How do I match my cabinet boxes to the new doors?

Qwikkit offers four ways to cover the boxes: paint, peel and stick film, 1/4 inch panels, and decorative panels. Which one you pick depends on the surface and whether your doors are a solid color or a wood grain.

Which option is best for wood grain doors?

Peel and stick film, 1/4 inch panels, and decorative panels all match wood grains well. For solid colors, color-matched paint is the simplest choice.

Where does each option work best?

Peel and stick film is best on cabinet face frames. Panels are best on box sides, large surfaces, and island bases. Paint covers the whole box inside and out.

How do I order panels?

In the portal, select Add Custom Item, then choose Panel 1/4 inch or Panel under Part Type. Paint and peel and stick film are listed under Accessories.

Can I paint the cabinet boxes?

Yes. Color-matched paint is available in every color and covers the box inside and out. It is water-based and needs to dry before you install.
