When Is Refacing Not A Good Idea

We are not always the perfect fit. The following describes instances that require a different solution:

Having metal cabinets
Wood cabinets are in bad shape
Wood frame is made of plywood, particle board, or MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
Unique woodgrain or style is desired
Changing the layout/floorplan

Reface vs Replace

Refacing offers a lot of advantages to replacing. Refacing is best for:

Projects that are smaller in scope and less complex
Time is important for your project
Cost is a concern (Refacing is usually 1/3 cost of replacing)
